MillRiver was called in to provide custom doors, windows and stairs for a high-end renovation in Boston's Back Bay.

The first projects were so successful that the word spread to other renovation projects. All of the specifications required historically acceptable, but energy efficient solutions. We designed a window system for this demanding area - even solving problems like working double hung CURVED insulated glass units with invisible balances to addressing the needs of reproduction stair components for the "vintage" tight and curvy stairways of the period. The various products and processes created for these special situations are now field proven and available only from MillRiver Custom Door & Window.
